Survey of India, Institute of Archaeology, 24 Tilak Marg, New Delhi-110001 is offering two-year postgraduate diploma in archaeology.
You need: Masters degree in ancient or medieval Indian history/archaeology/anthropology/ lndian classical languages such as Sanskrit, Pali, Prakrit, Arabic or Persian or in Geology from knowledge of Pleistocene age with minimum aggregate of 55% marks, 50% for SC/ST/OBC; upper age limit is 25 years as on July 31,2007.
Form: From the Office of the Director, Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India, Red Fort, Delhi-110006 enclosing request with s a e of size 32 cm X 22cms orA4 size with DD for Rs 250 in favour of the Director, Institute of Archaeology payable at New Delhi. Write name and address in capital letters on the back of the DD.
Deadline: July 14,2007 for requests/ July 31, 2007 for submission.
