Admissions For Post Graduate Programmes - 2005
Procedure for Enrollment:
1. Eligibility Requirements:
Graduates in any discipline from a recognized University.
OR
Diploma holders from recognized polytechnic with minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
OR
Students appearing for the final year examination.
OR
NRI’s and Foreign nationals who have graduated from an Accredited University.

3. Sending the filled in application form along with the registration fee & enclosures listed below to SCDL, Pune
Enclosures with application:
Copy of the Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Mark list of 1st & 2nd year of graduation duly attested by a Class I / Gazetted officer.
Two copies of recent passport size colour photographs.
Non- refundable Registration Fee of Rs.1000/- to be submitted along with application form by Demand Draft or in cash (at SCDL office only).
Service Certificate, applicable to Diploma Holders only, as per the attached proforma.
For persons residing outside India & Foreign Nationals, a foreign address is mandatory with an address proof or copies of passport page showing Visa of the foreign country.
Students appearing for final year examination must submit their Degree Certificate or Attested Final year mark sheet by 15th November 2005 for confirmation of admission, failing which their admission will be cancelled.
Admission Procedure:
Confirmation of admission - Application forms sent by post along with registration fee are scrutinized for eligibility. confirmation of admission letter alongwith 1st semester study material books, Identity Card and Bar Code leabels are sent to students provided all eligibility criteria are satisfied
Provisional Admissions - Provisional admission is given when the application form has deficiencies such as: when attached documents are not attested, insufficient documents, incomplete / unsigned application form, lack of photographs / service certificate (for Diploma holders) / visa copy (for Foreign Residents)
Please note:
Students admitted on provisional basis do not recieve and ID card until their admissions are confirmed.
Students admitted on provisional basis must submit required documents or comply with deficiencies immediately upon receipt of provisional admission letter so as to get confirmed admission.
Provisional students failing to submit required documents on or before Nov 15, 2005 are subject to cancellation of admission.
Important Dates:
Last date of submission of application form for admission along with registration fees is July 1, 2005.
Applications for change of programmes / course are to be submitted by 31st July, 2005.
Applications for change in Specialization should be submitted by 1st October, 2005.
Applications for Dual Specialization are to be submitted by 30th November, 2005.
Applications for cancellation of admission and fee refunds are to be submitted by August 31, 2005.
Walk-In Admissions for Post Graduate Programmes and Certificate Courses :–
Students may walk into SCDL with the completed application form, registration fee and all other required documents. If the student satisfies all admission and eligibility requirements, then the student can walk out with the admission letter & study material books.
* Late Admissions at Director’s discretion.
