Orissa Maritime Academy is under Govt. of Orissa and established in 1993. It was founded by Padmabhushan Sri Rama Kant Rath, IAS, Ex- Chief Secretary to Government of Orissa. It is approved by the Director General of Shipping, Govt. of India, Mumbai. The Academy has been registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860 and is ISO 9001-2000 certified.
Eligibility:
1. Must pass 10th standard from a recognized Board with Science, Mathematics and English
2. Must have 40% in aggregate in 10th standard (40% in English either in 10th or in +2 levels)
How to apply:
Application form can be downloaded from the website and after the completion application forms should be submitted to the Academy along with a demand draft of Rs.100/- and attested xerox copy of relevant documents.
