Rajasthan Public Service Commission came into existence in 16th August,1949. Sir S.K.Ghosh was appointed as the first chairman of RPSC. Shri C.R. Chaudhary is the current chairman of RPSC and there are 6 members of the commsion.

Functions and duties of RPSC
Main function of Rajasthan Public Service Commission to conduct examinations for appointment to the services of the state. In addition of this RPSC give the consultancy to government on many key issues.
