Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) offers contemporary design education to budding talent, equipping thme with comprehensive design skills to meet the challenges across different verticals of design. SID’s programmes are an optimum mix of traditional design skills, and entail a project-based approach. SID focuses not only on academic growth but also on the all-round personality development of its students.
Programmes Offered :
Graduate Diploma in Communication Design (GDCD)
Graduate Diploma in Product Design (GDPD)
Eligibility : successful completion of min 1-year foundation Studies & Core Skills porgramme at a recognized Desing/Art/architecture/Engineering institute after 12th std.
OR Graduate or diploma holders in applied Arts/ Graphic, Art/Design/architecture/Engineering or related disciplines (this should be a min. of 1-year couse i.e. a min. of 13 year of fromal education).
OR Professionals with min. of 1 year of relevant experience in design and having passed 12th stnd.
OR Professional from any field with min. 13 years of formal education & a demonstrated interest in design.
How to apply : Application forms can be obtained either by sending a Demand Draft(DD) of Rs. 1100/- drawn in favour of “THe Director Symbiosis Institute of Design” Payable at PUne” OR by downloading a PDF version of the application from from www.symbiosisdesign.ac.in and sending the completed application from along with a DD of Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of “The director Symbiosis Institute of Design” Payble at Pune. Please send you design portofolio alongwith the completed application form
Selection Process: Selection to direct second year of above programmes will be based on portofolio reviews and personal interviews held at Pune.
