You need: P G Degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics or Econometrics for the Indian Economic Service; PG degree in Statistics or Mathematical Statistics, Applied Statistics for the Indian Statistical Service. Must have attained 21 years and not attained the age of 30 years as on 01.01.2005 (relaxations for SC, ST, OBC and PH); physically fit. Refer to http://www.upsc.gov.in or Employment News of 11.06.2005.
Form: Common Application form for UPSC exams from any one of the designated Head Post Offices or Post Offices throughout India.
Deadline: 11.07.2005 for submission.
Notified: Prominent national dailies and Employment News on 11.06.2005.
