PG Diploma - Anaesthesiology, Clinical Pathology, Child Health, Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Otorhinolaryngology, Psychiatry, Radio-diagnosis.
Duration: MD/MS - 3 years (2 years for candidates with a PG Diploma in the relevant speciality from any recognized college), PG Diploma - 2 years
Seats: Manipal and Mangalore around 400 (The number of seats are decided as per the MCI guidelines on PG medical education which is related to the number of PG teachers in each department and the number units, subject to any restrictions imposed by MCI. Accordingly the number of seats may vary from year to year).
Eligibility: General category - Indian nationals, pass in MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI, completion of Internship on or before 30.04.06 , permanent registration.
Foreign/NRI category - Foreign nationals can apply under the quota of seats reserved for them. Those applying under NRI category must be NRIs or supported by Parents/ Brothers/ Sisters/ Spouse/ Spouse’s Parents or Spouse’s Brothers/ Sisters having NRI status. Candidates supported by cousin brother/sister, uncle, aunt, brother-in-law (excluding spouse’s brother) or any other person will not be accepted.
Admissions through merit in the online entrance test to be held between 27.03.06 and 10.04.06 at Bangalore , Chennai, Delhi , Ernakulam, Hyderabad , Kolkata, Manipal, Mangalore, Mumbai for both General and NRI Category.

APPLICATION
Candidates can apply to MAHE courses using any of the following 3 options:
OPTION 1: Apply online from 01.02.06, logon to http://admissions.manipal.edu and follow the procedure for submitting application online. Candidates have the option of paying the application and entrance test fee through Credit Card or Debit Card.
OPTION 2: The application material can be purchased from MAHE Admissions office by writing to the following address by enclosing a request along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 350 drawn in the name of MAHE made payable at Manipal or Udupi or Bangalore. Clearly mention the course and your complete postal address (including PIN, Telephone Number and Email address) in your application:
