DOEACC Centre - Aurangabad Admissions 2006
DOEACC Centre (formerly CEDTI), Aurangabad invites applications for admission to the following AICTE approved courses:
1. DIPLOMA In ELECTRONICS PRODUCTION AND MAINTENANCE [DEPM]
Eligibility
a) Xth standard passed from a recognized Board with a minimum average score of 50% (relaxable to 45% for candidates belonging to SC / ST category) in Mathematics and Science subjects.
b) The candidate’s age should not be less than 15 years and more than 18 years as on July 01, 2006. Upper age limit is relaxable to 20 years for SC/ST candidates.
2 MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY ELECTRONICS DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY [M. Tech (EDT)]
Eligibility :
a) BE / B Tech / B Sc (Engineering) Degree or equivalent in Electronics / Electrical / Telecommunication / Computers / Instrumentation engineering from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks (relaxable to 50% for candidates belonging to SC / ST category). A candidate with B. E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical /
Production / Industrial Engineering with exceptional aptitude and knowledge in electronics may also be considered.
b) The candidate should have passed the GATE examination with minimum score of 80 percentile OR The candidate should have been serving in Academic Institution/ Industry/R&D organization engaged in electronics product or system development for at least two years and should be sponsored by the employer. He / She should produce necessary sponsorship certificate along with the application in prescribed form.
c) Non-Gate candidate may also apply but their application will be considered if Gate Candidates are not available.
Selection Criteria
Selection of candidates for DEPM & M.Tech will be based on a written entrance test followed by personal interview. The Entrance test and interview for M. Tech. and DEPM will be conducted in the month of June/July.

HOW TO APPLY
Cost of the application form / Brochure for DEPM is Rs 300/- (200/-for SC/ST candidate) and for M Tech (EOT) is Rs. 500Y- (Rs 300A for SC/ST candidates).
Brochure and Application Form can be obtained in person from “Administration Section, DOEACC Centre, Aurangabad (MS),” during the working hours or through post by sending self addressed envelope of size 15 x 23 sq.cm. with postal stamp of Rs. 50A. Demand draft for application shall be of any nationalised bank drawn in favour of Director, DOEACC Centre payable at Aurangabad (Maharashtra). Candidate belonging to SC /ST Category must substantiate their claim by enclosing proof for the same.
Submission of Forms
The filled in application form along with relevant documents should reach the Centre on the address mentioned above in due date. Incomplete and late received application forms will not be considered. DOEACC Centre, Aurangabad will not be responsible for any postal delay.
The decision of Director, DOEACC Centre, Aurangabad in respect of selection and closing of admission will be final.
Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification. Candidates will appear for entrance test or interview at their own expenses.
