BSc; Nautical Science August 2007 session by Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi in collaboration with the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), Mumbai.

You need; Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with mathematics, physics and chemistry with not less than 55% in physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) and or (2) physics as an individual subject in any one of the years of BSc with PCM or electronics with minimum 55% marks or (3) BE or BTech degree from IIT or college recognised by AICTE/UGC/DEC. Should have passed in English language as a subject at either class X or XII or in the degree/diploma course conducted by the board or any university with not less than 50% marks. Age limit as on August 1,2007(1) not more than 20 years; (2) not more than 22 years and (3) not more than 24 years. Age limit is relaxable for two years in case of female candidates and five years for SC and ST.The entrance test (OPENNET) is on June 17,2007.
