122: Ground Duty Officers Course (Men) and 15 Short Service Commission (Men), 31 Short Service Commission Course (Women) in the Indian Air Force commencing July 2007.

You need: Indian citizens, candidates below 25 years must be unmarried (a) Postgrad¬uates or Graduates in Arts/Science/ Comm¬erce, Law or Management AICTE approved PGDBA (three years part time/ two-years full time) or engineering for administration and logistics for men and women; (b) PG in com¬merce or graduate in commerce or ICWA/CA with BCom/ M Com for Accounts for men and women; (c) PG in Science/ Geography or MCA with Mathematics and Physics at grad¬uation level for Meteorology for men and women; (d) PG in English/defence studies/ psychology/ mathematics/ physics/ statis¬tics/ computer science/ management or MEd after PG as stated above or PhD in above subjects for Education for men and women.CET on February 4,2007.

1. Qualification : Candidate should have passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination with pass marks in Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in overall aggregate.
OR
Three years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/Computer Science/ instrumentation Technology/Information Technology} from a Govt. recognised Polytechnic/ Institute.

2. Age : Born between 01 July 1986 and 30 September 1990 (both days inclusive)

3. Last date for: 17 November 2006. For candidates from North-East Region receipt of and islanders the last date is 27 November 2006. application

Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2006 on September 17,2006 for admission to (a) IMA (b)Naval Academy, (b) Air Force Academy and (c) Officers’ Training Academy.

You need: (a) Unmarried male graduates born not earlier than July 2,1983 and not later than July 1,1988;(b) unmarried male candidates with B Sc (physics and mathematics) or BE, born not earlier than July 2, 1985 (July 2,1983 in case of Naval Wing NCC ‘C Certificate holders) and not later than July 1,1988;(c) unmarried male graduates (with physics and mathematics at 10+2 level) or BE born not earlier than July 2,1984 and not later than July 1,19887 and (d) Male graduates (married or unmarried) born not earlier than July 2,1982 and not later than July 1,1988 only are eligible.
