Graduate Diploma in Communication Design (GDCD)
Graduate Diploma in Product Design (GDPD)
Eligibility : successful completion of min 1-year foundation Studies & Core Skills porgramme at a recognized Desing/Art/architecture/Engineering institute after 12th std.
OR Graduate or diploma holders in applied Arts/ Graphic, Art/Design/architecture/Engineering or related disciplines (this should be a min. of 1-year couse i.e. a min. of 13 year of fromal education).
OR Professionals with min. of 1 year of relevant experience in design and having passed 12th stnd.
OR Professional from any field with min. 13 years of formal education & a demonstrated interest in design.

Procedure for Enrollment:
1. Eligibility Requirements :
Graduates in any discipline from a recognized University
OR
Diploma holders
OR
NRI’s and Foreign nationals who have graduated from an Accredited University.

3. Sending the filled in application form along with the registration fee & enclosures listed below to SCDL, Pune
Enclosures with application:
Copy of the Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Mark list of 1st & 2nd year of graduation duly attested by a
Class I / Gazetted officer.
Two copies of recent passport size colour photographs.
Non- refundable Registration Fee of Rs.500/- to be submitted along with application form by Demand Draft or in cash (at SCDL office only). For persons residing outside India & Foreign Nationals, a foreign address is mandatory with an address proof or copies of passport page showing Visa of the foreign country.
Admission Procedure:
Confirmation of admission - Application forms sent by post along with registration fee are scrutinized for eligibility. confirmation of admission letter alongwith 1st semester study material books, Identity Card and are sent to students provided all eligibility criteria are satisfied
Provisional Admissions - Provisional admission is given when the application form has deficiencies such as: when attached documents are not attested, insufficient documents, incomplete / unsigned application form, lack of photographs / service certificate (for Diploma holders) / visa copy (for Foreign Residents)
Please note:
Students admitted on provisional basis do not recieve and ID card until their admissions are confirmed.
Students admitted on provisional basis must submit required documents or comply with deficiencies immediately upon receipt of provisional admission letter so as to get confirmed admission.
Provisional students failing to submit required documents on or before Nov 15, 2005 are subject to cancellation of admission.
Important Dates:
Last date of submission of application form for admission along with registration fees is July 1, 2005.
The course fees must be paid in a single installment immediately upon receipt of Admission Letter (Confirmation or
Provisional) or within 15 days from the date of commencement of course, which ever is earlier.
